I have been in the childcare profession since I was a Senior in college. I love children and enjoy spending time with them. I worked at Kindercare in Montgomery for two years before  I started teaching. I was also a sub in the Covington County School system for a year. My husband was teaching at the time in Andalusia High School and he resigned so we could move to the Lee County area so I could find a job. Upon moving my husband recieved a teaching position in Special Education at Opelika High School and I received a job at Loachapoka Elementary teaching Kindergarten and I have been here for the last 17 years.

I was born and raised in Camphill.  I went to school at Edward Bell in Camphill, Alabama and  from there I went on to college at Alabama State University. At ASU, I earned a BS degree in Early Childhood Education. My husband's name is Charlie and we have been married for 18 yrs and have two beautiful children-Ciarra 18 and Cameron 13.  My daughter is a freshman at AUM in Montgomery, Al and my son is an eighth grader at Auburn Jr. High. I like traveling, gardening, and watching sci-fi movies. I have been teaching for 17 yrs!
